Vasili’s Garden

Published by SisterWorks Inc. on

The SisterWorks Richmond store was overflowing on Wednesday morning, thanks to a visit from a 7TWO camera crew. Sally Williams caught up with Luz and the SisterWorks Entrepreneurs to film a segment for Vasili’s Garden – a show that focuses on sustainable products and traditional methods of gardening and healthy eating.

Wednesday is one of our busiest days at SisterWorks store in Richmond. The office is full of volunteers and Entrepreneurs – we could hardly fit into the front room for a group photo! The camera crew captured some of our Sisters busy at work in the Design Lab, making beeswax wraps for the store, and had a chat to Luz about the SisterWorks mission.

The segment focuses on handcrafted SisterWorks products and the sustainable philosophy of the organisation. All of our products are locally made and use ethical input materials.

Our business model puts profits back into the business – the money we make goes to our Entrepreneurs or towards sustaining the organisation. From top to bottom, the SisterWorks family focuses on sustainability and community values. The opportunity to share the SisterWorks story is incredibly important, and it goes a long way to promote the ethos of the organisation. It is exciting to see that the hard work of volunteers, employees, and, of course, our Entrepreneurs, is being recognised.

We will announce when catching a glimpse of Luz and the team on screen soon.
