Akira Grateful- a partnership we're grateful for

We are so pleased to announce a new partnership with Akira Grateful, a brand built on the desire to be grateful and to give back to the community

Akira Grateful derives inspiration for its skincare products from the natural fragrances of Sri Lanka’s flora, such as Gota Kola, Cinnamon Leaf, Lemon Myrtle & Lemongrass, Mango & Almond Oil, and Green Tea & Tamarind.

The collection is free from harsh sulfates and parabens, and is locally produced in Australia. Their products reflect their gratefulness for kindness, hope, love, courage, and beauty.

Akira means ‘to have graceful strength’, and also represents the first or middle initials of its founder Priyanth’s family. The brand at its core possesses strong familial ties and a history of perseverance as Priyanth fled the Sri Lankan Civil War as a child. Together, the family rebuilt their lives in Melbourne, and now aim to honour and protect humanity by supporting charities worldwide.

Through its ‘Give Back‘ program, Akira Grateful wants to return the opportunities its founder was given upon arriving in Australia, and is committed to supporting charitable organisations which support those affected by cancer, homelessness, their refugee status, and poverty.

SisterWorks is truly grateful to partner with an organisation that actively works to give back to the community, and we are excited for the future.
