I’m Carolina, from Chile. I’m 33 years old. I’m living in Melbourne for a defined time. I have a 3 years old daughter and my husband is studying a diploma supported by the Chilean Government. We all came to Melbourne as a family. SisterWorks has been an unexpected heaven for me.

Since I came, great things have been coming into my life at the right time. It has been wonderful to participate in here. I realized now about my dreams and new challenges to undertake.

I think this stay in Australia is a great opportunity to grow in many aspects of my life. It remains for me a source of self-affirmation of my life purposes. I´m seeking to develop my skills; handicrafts, entrepreneurship, and others fields of self-empowerment. I believe in my capacities one more time. That’s why I’m also proud of my skills and knowledge as a complementary therapist. In Chile I studied Naturopathy and I was working extensively in this role.

I have been performing natural and holistic therapies; such as Reiki, Bach flowers, Metamorphic massage among others.

I had the opportunity to develop my work both in the area of public health and private care. Today awake in me the need to share this experience in Reiki; bringing a great tool and make it available for our SisterWorks community. You may find it more than useful for all aspects in your life. Why Reiki? Because it is such a simple method to obtain a powerful general wellness and a great healing tool from nature.

I have also launched a range of gifts that I have crafted using needle felting in the SisterWorks shop. This is a skill that I learnt six years ago in Chile. I make hanging decorations for babies as well as Christmas decorations, including nativity scenes.

There is now a new Reiki studio at the SisterWorks home. I will now be able to take appointments and have a space to offer the therapeutic and healing practice of Reiki.
