Donate to our International Womens Day appeal and Empower our Sisters in a digital world

2020 was a challenging year for SisterWorks – we rapidly moved our classes online and sped up the development of our online learning platform, the SisterWorks e-Hub. With support from UN Women, this exciting new platform was created for women from migrant and refugee backgrounds, providing them with bite-size educational content and access to live online classes.

In the lead-up to IWD on March 8th, we are officially launching the e-Hub and asking for your support to help us grow so even more migrant, refugee and asylum seeker women can continue to build their digital literacy, gain new knowledge and skills, and learn more about living in Australia.

Provides one of our Sisters with a kit filled with the materials she needs to participate in our classes. We run blended classes with our Sisters, connecting those participating face to face to those online via our e-Hub. Having access to materials allows them to enhance their practical learning experience.

Running of a 2hr online class with our Sisters. We run approximately 3/4 classes a week. This includes paying 1 teacher as well as the materials needed for the activity.

Pays for the production and administration costs of 1 bite-sized educational video or e-book for our SisterWorks e-Hub app.
