Gloria joined the SisterWorks’ pilot Hospitality program this year. One cold Melbourne evening, Gloria shared a train ride with SisterWorks’ Head of Programs and discussed her plans to join the Victoria Police Diversity Recruitment program. Through this conversation, SisterWorks personally arranged coaching for Gloria with our Head of Employment Support to support Glora through her Victorian Police interview. Working together, they practised every conceivable interview question as well as researched the Victoria Police history and values, successfully receiving a placement. 

Furthermore, her program placement required that Gloria have current employment and by working with SisterWorks, Gloria was able to apply for and work as a tutor officer role with Melbourne Polytechnic, her first professional role in Australia.
