Bendigo Empowerment Hub Manager
Leah Sigley is a Manger at our Empowerment Hub in Bendigo. In her role at SisterWorks, Leah coordinates workshops, mentoring and sales opportunities for the refugee, migrant and asylum seeking women living in the regional centre of Bendigo. Her journey with SisterWorks began in July 2019 when she began volunteering at the newly formed Bendigo Hub. She finds the most rewarding part of her role with SisterWorks is watching it grow and fostering a warm, welcoming community of Sisters and volunteers.
She is currently studying a Bachelor of Human Services/Master of Social Work at La Trobe University and in her spare time she loves to create art, go on bush walks and tend to her garden.
