Macarena Erbs, Chile
Macarena is Chilean born with a strong academic background; she has a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, a Masters of Business Engineering from Chile and completed her MBA majoring in Project and Program Management in Melbourne. Before joining SisterWorks she worked as a project manager in Chile managing Innovation and Research projects in the University sector. She uses her professional skills to improve quality, efficiency and develop new strategies in the social sector. Her journey at SisterWorks started 3 years ago in the cooking program and her role evolved to her current position as the Production and Process Engineer in the social enterprise.
Macarena is fulfilling her dream job, to support other women through the difficult process of integrating into Australian life that is experienced by many migrants. She truly believes that anyone has the capacity to reinvent and become a new version of themselves, in order to find a sense of belonging within a new culture and lifestyle.
