Community Relations Lead
Maria is a 2019 graduate of International Studies at RMIT University. With career goals within Community Development, she found herself at SisterWorks through her university internship in 2019. This position developed into a volunteer role supporting corporate and fundraising relationships. In February 2020, Maria began in the position of Community Relations Lead.
As a second generation migrant from Romanian parents, she understands first hand the cross generational impact of the migrant experience which drives her work towards the SisterWorks mission.
Maria is an optimistic, warm and committed individual who firmly believes in the value of empowering women. She translates these qualities into her work, managing fundraising, community relationships and digital communications, as well as supporting many public speaking engagement events to raise awareness about the SisterWorks impact.
