Melissa Williams
Training and Program Manager
Melissa was born in Australia but has strong cultural connections to Hong Kong.
As our Training and Program Manager, she plans and coordinates a variety of training and education programs for our Richmond Empowerment Hub. She also guides and supports our teachers and engagement coordinators to deliver programs to our Sisters.
Coming from a background in fashion and teaching, Melissa’s fantastic sewing and craft skills helped her connect with SisterWorks. She started with the organisation as a volunteer in 2019 before joining the team as a staff member in 2020.
Melissa believes that SisterWorks plays a unique role in supporting women from CALD backgrounds. The organisation’s supportive energy, demonstrated every day by our devoted team, was what initially attracted her Sisterworks.
When she’s not at work, you can usually find Melissa on a sail boat somewhere.
