Valerie Deneen, Hong Kong

Valerie is the Head of Social Enterprise at SisterWorks. She is passionate about helping disadvantaged migrants integrate and succeed in their new country. Valerie started as a Business and Sales Strategy Mentor volunteer in SisterWorks’ Social Enterprise in July 2019. Her current role includes key account management, new business development and account acquisition. She also plays a key role in the continued strategic planning for the Social Enterprise.

Valerie is a Hong Kong native but lived in New York and Singapore for extensive periods of time before settling in Melbourne. Prior to joining SisterWorks, Valerie was the Account Manager for a US-based multinational company, responsible for the company’s business development and operation in the Asia Pacific region. Valerie has an MBA from the University of Iowa, a US Professional in Human Resources Certificate, and a Hong Kong Teacher’s Certificate.
