Thank you to everyone who generously supported The SisterWorks Refugee Week Fundraising Gala.
Our Gala was a tremendous success. Together, we raised an astounding $135K for SisterWorks. These vital funds will help us provide life-changing education, training and pre-employment programs to more refugee and migrant women in Australia.
We could not have raised this amount without the support of our sponsors and supporters.
Accenture, Elato Ice Cream, Fisher Leadership, L’Oréal Australia, Munificent Wines, Principle Design, Seer Medical, Soroptimist International – Melbourne, Trio Syrian Cuisine, UEM Sunrise, UN Women, Victorian Multicultural Commission
Maha Sukkar (Master of Ceremonies), Sally Capp (Lord Mayor, City of Melbourne), Viv Nguyen (Chairperson of the Victorian Multicultural Commission), Sonali Hedditch (Second Chance Education Project Manager, UN Women), Sido Ndayi (Sister), Chantcristy Souk (Sister)
Together, we can create an Australia in which all refugee, migrant and asylum seeker women are economically empowered. Stay tuned for big news about our 10th anniversary and how you can participate in more events to support SisterWorks.
