Head of Impact

Meggan Boag (She/Her), Australia

Meggan joined SisterWorks in early 2022 as our Grants Manager having worked in federal grants administration over the previous five years. In mid-2023, she continued her journey with SisterWorks in the Leadership Team as the Head of Impact, providing insight to stakeholders on the outcomes of SisterWorks’ initiatives.

Meggan is passionate about supporting the wellbeing and empowerment of multicultural women. She holds a Bachelor of International Development (Honours); her dissertation focused on the poverty cycle of refugees in Kuala Lumpur. Meggan has also travelled extensively, participating in university exchanges in Hong Kong and the US, and volunteering in China and India. She volunteered and worked with several migrant and refugee not-for-profits before joining SisterWorks.

"SisterWorks is more than a workplace - it is a community. I work alongside strong, capable and passionate women, and in a role where I can clearly see how funding opportunities enable greater Sister participation. These outcomes - the smiles on everyone’s faces, the sense of belonging and Sisters’ stories of impact - are incredibly rewarding"
