Meggan joined Sisterworks in 2022 as the Grants Project Manager having worked in grants management for several federal government departments over the previous five years in Canberra.
Meggan is passionate about supporting the wellbeing and empowerment of linguistically diverse communities. She holds a Bachelor of International Development (Honours) and a Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Adelaide. Her dissertation focused on the poverty cycle of refugees in Kuala Lumpur.
Meggan has also travelled extensively, participating in university exchanges to Hong Kong and the United States, volunteering in China and India, and backpacking throughout the Americas and Eurasia. Meggan has also worked and interned with several migrant and refugee not-for-profits in Adelaide and Canberra.
In her free time, Meggan loves hiking, camping, reading, and enjoying all the delicious food Melbourne has to offer.
