Deputy Chair
Greg Wayman (He/Him), Australia
Greg spent over 30 years in senior management, strategic consulting, marketing and market research. After 10 years in various management, marketing and strategic consulting roles for US based WR Grace and IBIS Strategy Consultants, Greg became Managing Director for Reark Research, one of Australia’s largest market research companies at the time. In 1993, he co-founded NWC Research, which rapidly expanded to become one of Australia’s most successful research companies, focusing on government and social research, and also customer experience research. After international expansion of the company, it was acquired by ORC International, where Greg remained for 8 years as an international board member and Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific.
Over his career in market research, Greg has spent most of his time working with Government sector clients, and for a number of years ORC International was one of the largest suppliers of social and market research to the Federal Government.
Greg retired early to work with community-based organisations. Greg has been on the SisterWorks board since 2017. Greg has been very active in our Social Enterprise, focusing on initiatives to ensure it is sustainable and becomes a strong source of income for the organisation.
"I became involved with SisterWorks as it was a highly focused and effective grass roots organisation. After many years I’m delighted that even though SisterWorks has grown dramatically, it remains true to its values of providing meaningful outcomes for the Sisters it supports."
