Bethany's journey to SisterWorks took her through a range of jobs in hospitality, and insurance, finally deciding that she wanted to do something where she could engage with and help others. This realisation prompted her to start a Diploma of Community Services and joined SisterWorks in July 2021 as an intern, where she quickly realised that SisterWorks was where she wanted to be.

Currently, Bethany is working as the Program Manager at the Abbotsford Hub of SisterWorks, her role includes managing the delivery of program in the hub as well as at mobile hubs. She also trains and supervises a rotating team of interns and volunteers who help register Sisters into the programs and support their engagement throughout the term.

Outside of work Bethany enjoys cooking, going camping, hiking, and exploring Victoria with her partner.
