Cassandra is a communications professional that has worked across the public, private and NFP sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. She completed a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) from RMIT University.
She is passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable people and has previously worked in health with a focus on addiction. Bringing experience of delivering national online support services, research projects, consumer forums and behind the scenes support on the documentary ‘Addicted Australia’.
Her belief is that when programs that help the community have strong supporting communications they can broaden the reach, uptake and impact providing greater benefits to everyone.
Cassandra is a second generation Australian that grew up in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne and lived in the UK for 6 years. In her time in the UK she gained an understanding of the challenges of being a migrant trying to navigate foreign systems, obtaining employment and finding connection.
She is excited to join SisterWorks team where she is able to work in a space that brings together some of her passions including craft, sustainability and empowerment of women through work.
