Social Enterprise Production Coordinator

Jodelle Gonzaga (She/Her), Phillipines

Jodelle graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education from the Philippines and finished the courses Diploma in Community Services and Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management here in Melbourne.

She first joined SisterWorks as an intern while doing her Community Services studies in 2021. After finishing her placement, she stayed on as a volunteer and later on became part of the staff, first as a Social Enterprise Market Coordinator, and now she has transitioned into the Production Coordinator role, where she will helping coordinate and oversee production activities, working closely with the Sisters.

As someone who grew up moving a lot, she knows the difficulties of meeting new people, learning new culture and language and adapting to a new environment. She wants to use her experience to help migrant women create meaningful social and economic connections, empower them and make an impact in their lives.

“I want to help the Sisters feel that in this foreign land, there’s a warm and empowering family that

welcomes them into their home and will help them grow and develop holistically as an individual

and as a member of their new home. Just like how they did with me.”
