Apply as a Mentor Today
We’re excited to launch the SisterWorks Mentorship Programme, a dynamic initiative that connects industry experts with our SisterWorks team members and dedicated volunteers. Over the next six months, this programme offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge, foster professional growth, and empower others.
Interested in becoming a Mentor?
What is the Mentorship Programme?
The SisterWorks Mentorship Programme is a chance to engage with passionate, driven individuals. By pairing experienced mentors with ambitious mentees, we aim to build meaningful connections that support and inspire both personal and professional development.
Why Mentoring Matters:
This programme encourages collaboration, fosters professional growth, and creates a supportive environment within SisterWorks. Key focuses include:
Enhancing skills and career opportunities for staff members.
Developing leadership abilities through shared learning experiences.
Strengthening connections between staff, volunteers, and industry partners, building a more united network.
Fostering diversity, respect, and understanding across teams, encouraging a culture of inclusion.
Who Can Be Mentors?
We’re looking for industry experts who have at least 3+ years of experience for entry-level roles, or 10+ years for managerial roles, and a passion for sharing knowledge. If you love guiding others and want to make a difference, we encourage you to apply!
How the Programme Works:
We invite all staff, volunteers, and interns to express their interest in being either a mentor or a mentee.
Mentors should have strong industry experience and communication skills and a genuine desire to share their expertise.
SisterWorks will match mentors with staff or key volunteers based on shared goals and mutual interests. Regular check-ins will track progress and provide feedback to ensure a successful experience.
At the end of the programme, we will create a Mentorship Alumni Network to continue the valuable connections made.
How Can You Get Involved?
This is a fantastic opportunity for growth, connection, and transformation. Here’s how you can be a part of it:
Become a Mentor or Mentee: Mentors should have 3+ years of experience for entry-level roles, or 10+ years for managerial roles. Mentees should be committed to personal and professional growth. All staff, volunteers, and interns are encouraged to apply.
Spread the Word: Share this amazing opportunity with your networks, friends, and colleagues. Whether you want to guide others or seek guidance yourself, this programme is a powerful way to grow and contribute to the community.
Offer Support: Whether through ideas, partnerships, or resources, your contributions will help us make an even greater impact.
Get Started
The programme includes training sessions and a matching process currently in development. We’re looking forward to seeing the positive change this initiative will bring to our community.
