Delaware North and SisterWorks became partners in 2022, providing many avenues of support and opportunities for our migrant, refugee and asylum-seeker Sister’s giving them valuable insights into the hospitality industry.

They provide services at high-profile places such as sports and entertainment venues, destination resorts and restaurants, and airports and travel hubs.
Hiring Sisters
They have already hired over 20 Sisters who have graduated from SisterWorks Hospitality program, with more opportunities being explored each term. The Sisters are working across Delaware North facilities including in MCG, Melbourne Olympic Park, Marvel Stadium as kitchen hands, retail food and beverage attendants, corporate food & beverage attendants.

Supporting our Programs
The Delaware North team has also engaged with SisterWorks hospitality program, with representatives attending classes to introduce their company and talk about the jobs they have available. They have also organised workplace tours for the Sisters where they can observe how their company works.This gave the Sisters opportunities to engage with a potential employer where they could ask questions about their jobs, recruitment processes and the company culture.
SisterWorks partnership with Delaware North has already provided Sisters with a variety of opportunities that suits their skills and work lives. We look forward to the continued growth of this supportive partnership that holds so much possibility for our Sisters into the future.
